For organizations

Care they can feel.
Support they can use.

Offer Westercove™ to the people you serve. A private grief companion for the hours after the office closes, and the months after the leave, the program, or the last visit.

Westercove offers individual subscriptions and organizational licensing, making grief support accessible to more people.

The gap

Bereavement ends.
Grief keeps no timetable.

Leave policies, hospice programs, and support groups are built around the tasks a death creates. The people you serve keep grieving after those tasks are done.

Bereavement

The tasks a death creates, and it has a distinct end. Making arrangements, notifying people, managing property, handling benefits, and completing the other responsibilities a death produces.

Grief

The emotional, physical, cognitive, relational and spiritual response to loss. It does not follow the timetable of bereavement tasks, and it is not limited to death.

Carter and Johnson-Hostler, 2026

Hospices make bereavement services available for up to one year following a death (42 CFR 418.64). Westercove™ is built for the grief that continues.

Who offers Westercove

Alongside the care you already give.

Westercove™ adds to the services you offer. It replaces none of them.

01

Employers and benefits

For the months after bereavement leave, alongside the EAP already in place. For HR teams, brokers, and benefits partners.

Read the employer brief

02

Hospice and palliative care

For caregivers before a death and families after it, beside your bereavement program.

Read the hospice brief

03

Survivor and recovery organizations

For people grieving a death by suicide or a death related to a substance use disorder, and for those experiencing grief during recovery, with language that honors their dignity.

Read the recovery brief

04

Pet care partners

For clients whose animal has died. Pet loss is real grief, and aftercare can be remembered.

What your people receive

Support at two in the morning,
in the third month.

  • ✓Four types of grief. Death of someone they love, caring for someone slipping away, the death of a beloved animal, or losing part of their own life. Two of the four begin without a death.
  • ✓Grief education. A curated Grief Library and a plain language glossary.
  • ✓Interactive guided journaling, answered. One question at a time, at any hour.
  • ✓Hard dates, prepared for. Birthdays and anniversaries met in advance.
  • ✓A summary for their care team. Shared only when they choose.

For adults 18 and older. Westercove does not replace therapy or medical care. It fills the hours around them.

Privacy

You receive totals.
Their words stay theirs.

Trust in privacy supports honest expression. An organization providing access cannot read what anyone writes. Reports stop at totals, never names, never a line of anyone's journal. Journal content is not sold, used for advertising, or shared without the griever's direction.

What your organization receives

A program that is used.

A benefit only helps if people open it. Every organizational license includes the communications that bring your people in, written by us and sent in your name.

  • ✓A twelve month license for the people you choose to cover.
  • ✓A launch announcement and messages through the year, written for you and sent under your name.
  • ✓Setup and training, with one point of contact.
  • ✓Totals at each review, such as access codes issued and redeemed, and nothing more.

For your committee

Everything a reviewer asks for.

  • ✓Westercove™ Guiding Principles. Eighteen beliefs, each tied to current research. Read them.
  • ✓Safety. Built with guidance from licensed mental health clinicians. Crisis support on every screen: 988 and 741741.
  • ✓Security and privacy package. Sent ahead of your first conversation.
  • ✓An honest security status. SOC 2 Type I is in progress, and we say so.
  • ✓Evaluating Digital Grief Support. The clinician rubric by Carter and Johnson-Hostler (2026), which holds Westercove to the same standard as every other tool.
  • ✓Scope. Adults 18 and older, in the United States, in English.

How a program starts

Four steps, at your pace.

Organizational licensing is priced by program, according to the number of people you want to reach and how you want to reach them. You will have a clear number after our first conversation.

1

A conversation

Who you serve, what support already exists, and where the gaps are.

2

A guided walkthrough

Your team sees Westercove exactly as a griever does, and reviews the safety and privacy package.

3

A license shaped to your program

Twelve months, the people you choose, and a plan for how they will hear about it.

4

Launch, then totals

We write the announcement and the messages that follow. You receive totals at each review.

Request a conversation

Grief support has business hours.
Grief does not.

Tell us about the people you serve. Dr. Wesley Carter, Founder and CEO, reads every request and will write to you herself with a time to talk.

Request a conversation

For employers, benefits partners, hospices, survivor and recovery organizations, and pet care partners.

Dr. Carter will write to you with a time. You will also receive the brief for your type of organization and our security and privacy package, so your team can read before you meet.
